RIPMobile User Agreement:
Overview:
Lawyers love the RIPmobile program, in
fact, they can’t say enough!
The use of the RIPMobile program is
governed by the terms, policies and
conditions set forth in this User
Agreement ("Agreement"). Please stop and
take a few minutes to read this
agreement carefully. It is the
Customer's responsibility, prior to
participating in this program, to read
this agreement carefully to understand
his/her rights and obligations as
specified before accepting its terms and
conditions. Your registration and your
use of this site indicate your
acceptance of these terms, policies and
conditions. We may amend this agreement
at any time by posting the amended terms
on our site. Except as stated, the
amended terms will automatically be
effective immediately after they are
posted.
RIPMobile.com provides an online
mechanism for customers to trade their
used cell phones / mobile phones and
PDAs. We reserve the right to alter,
cancel, or amend these services at our
sole discretion because phones and PDAs
change in value quickly - so send in
your devices quickly. All pricing quoted
is valid for 15 days from the creation
of a customer transaction via our web
site. Any changes made to phone pricing
after you send in your phones will not
affect the value of your exchange with
us, provided we receive the phones and
original transaction form with the
phones within 15 days.
Registration
Our services are available only to
registered users who can form legally
binding contracts under applicable law.
Our services are not available to
minors. You must be 18 years old or
older to use RIPMobile's services. If
you do not qualify, please do not use
our services. Registration requires
acceptance of the user agreement with
accurate and complete contact name,
address, and e-mail address.
Your use of RIPMobile.com may be
terminated or suspended by us if you do
not comply with this Agreement, our
policies and procedures, or for any
reason we determine is necessary, at our
sole discretion, to protect us and other
users of the site.
Each cell phone sent in for payment has
to be in working condition in order.
They must power-up and make an industry
standard test call. They may not be
broken; this means crushed, water
damaged or broken LCD's. Plastic cases
should be complete uncracked and
unbroken. Each handset should have its
battery and charger, but missing
chargers do not affect payment for the
phone. RIPmobile reserves the right to
discount otherwise working phones due to
cosmetic flaws, such as excessively
scratched, worn, or pierced plastic
cases, damage from angry ferrets or
other house pets, etc...
You must be the sole and proprietary
owner free and clear of all
encumbrances, of the item or items you
will be trading.
Each cell phone must have a valid ESN or
IMEI. Phones submitted with outstanding
balances associated with the ESN number,
or listed as lost or stolen by the
issuing carriers cannot be accepted for
payment. They will have to be recycled.
Battery chargers and related accessories
will be accepted.
Any handsets or other mobile devices
sent to RIPMobile.com that are not
listed on our website or are not
included in the trade confirmation will
be properly recycled.
Upon receipt and acceptance by RIPMobile
in accordance with the requirements
described above, I hereby transfer all
right title and interest in the Item to
RIPMobile.
Payment will be made within thirty (30)
days of the receipt of cell phone(s) and
PDAs to Users Account. RIPMobile will
not be responsible for inaccurate
information provided by the User during
the registration process. This includes
inaccurate e-mail addresses, or
passwords. RIPMobile is not responsible
for communications via e-mail sent by
RIPMobile to User that get caught up in
spam filters etc.
I agree that all determinations of
RIPMobile with respect to trade-in and
credit value assigned to the Item after
its inspection will be accepted as
final.
I acknowledge that RIPMobile may reject
or limit the quantity of items to be
traded in under the Offer. If you have a
large quantity of mobile phones or PDAs
to trade, please contact us directly at
volumetrades@ripmobile.com
All pricing and offers are subject to
change without notice. All confirmed
trade pricing will be honored within the
15 day period regardless of current
pricing.
Disable your mobile phone before sending
it in! It is the responsibility of the
user to discontinue service on all cell
/ mobile phones BEFORE they are sent in
to RIPMobile.com. RIPMobile.com will not
responsible for any and all airtime or
any other charges accrued prior to,
during, or after any transaction. It is
the responsibility of the original user
and wireless carrier / service provider
to resolve payment issues regarding any
and all carrier based service charges.
Free Postage Provided to US Residents
Only
The RIPmobile program provides Users
with free United States Postal Service
postage to send in phones and their
related accessories to be traded. Any
additional or other shipping charges are
solely at the expense of the User,
including insurance, Registered or
Certified services etc. Please send ALL
phones and PDAs to be traded in one
single, well-packed box – multiple
phones or PDAs sent in using multiple
postage labels increase our processing
costs unnecessarily, and if these
charges are deemed to be abusive by
RIPMobile, we reserve the right to
adjust your trade’s valuation to
compensate for these excessive postage
charges.
The RIPMobile program will accept phones
from other countries, but due to the
nature of the forms provided by the
United States Postal Service, any and
all shipping and postage charges will be
solely at the expense of the User.
Customer Information / Data Privacy
Policy
It is the responsibility of the user to
remove any and all personal information
from all phone memory and removable
memory. This includes, but is not
limited to phonebook information,
personal codes, e-mail addresses,
personal addresses, IM addresses,
photos, and downloaded files. ALL phones
and PDAs have a way to remove these
items from their memories - we suggest
you use it. Contact your device
manufacturer if you have questions
regarding how to perform this erasing
process, or you may find this to be a
helpful Internet resource:

RIPMobile.com will not be responsible
for any information of any sort left in
your phone or PDA. Simply stated, do not
send it to us if you do not want to
share it.
