How do I erase all my info from my phone?
Our processes usually require that we erase your data as part of processing your phone. But we don’t want your data, just the phones and related accessories (batteries and chargers). Here is a cool tool to remove the data in your phones yourself if you will feel more secure in using our service.
Just click on this link.

How do I identify my cell phone?
Your phone's model and serial (ESN or IMEI) numbers are usually located on the back of the phone. To identify the model number of your phone...

1- Turn off your phone.
2- Remove the battery or SIM compartment cover.
3- You will usually see identification information on the back of your phone in the battery or SIM compartment. Some companies make it harder than this - we don't know why, but if you call them, they will help you figure it out.

If you need help identifying your phone, please visit the manufacturer's website listed below...

Do you need my SIM card or other accessories?
We don't need your SIM card to process your phone, however, if you don't need it anymore, we can recycle it for you. We can recycle all the other accessories for you for free.

How do I sell you my phone?
Just start the process by selecting your phone make and model (if you need help figuring out what type of phone you have, read the question above about identifying your phone)

How long does it take to get my money?
Generally, it should take about three weeks for you to receive your electronic gift certificates by e-mail from us or our partners. Some of RIPMobile's gift certificates come electronically and instantly, others (like the Starbucks Card) will take a few more days while we get the gift cards and mail them to you.

Where do I need to send the phones?
We provide you a free shipping label with all the phones you are selling us (you can use the same label for up to 10 phones in one box). The address is on it. But here it is again:

How do I send my phone if it is not in your listing?
If we don't have your phone in our listing, it can mean two things:
1- It is a brand new phone that just came out and we haven't got the chance to put it in our listing yet, in this case contact us, we will update the list and give you a price for it.

2- This is an old phone that we no longer accept. In this case, we still want it as we stand by our claim of wanting to protect the environment from toxic materials that are found in those phones. So we have different options for you:
- You can drop your phone off at any fedex/Kinko's store or Staples store location to be recycled. We have programs in place with them. Or
-Visit www.collectivegood.com to donate your phone to a charity of your choice (some of them offer free shipping.).
