When you trade a cell / mobile telephone through the RIPmobile web site, it becomes the property of RIPmobile Inc. RIPmobile in turn contracts with certain partner organizations to offer you gift certificates or other forms of value for your phone. Per our agreements with the retailer you pick, RIPmobile Inc. will send your contact information on to them so they can send you a gift certificate for whatever product(s) you have chosen. Some of these retailers have privacy policies stated on their web sites, others may cause you to have to register / create an account on their sites. Please understand that these third party agents run their businesses on their own terms and conditions, and RIPmobile.com cannot control their actions.

• Our donation forms ask for contact information (e.g. name, address and email address). You would enter that information on the blank form you fill in on our site. You would provide your contact information via that form and send the form with the cell / mobile phones you are trading with us by mail. The donor information is shared with the retail organization you picked to receive gift certificates from. The contact information is also used to contact customers in the rare cases when partial information makes that necessary (for example: phones were entered incorrectly into the web site - affecting pricing of the trade offer made on line).
• The information you provide is used to enhance your experience with RIPmobile.com. We occasionally use it to update you on our products and services. We will also occasionally notify you of special offers from RIPmobile.com or our merchant partners. RIPmobile.com ensures that all donations made through the site are stored on a secure server, and that this data is downloaded frequently into a master database that is kept off-line, further minimizing any risk for data security.
